Meet Mrs. Roe

Angel Roe is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a passion for supporting children and families through every stage of growth. She believes that healthcare should be honest, accessible, and centered around the needs of the whole family.

Angel began her nursing career in 2013 and gained valuable experience caring for children at Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She went on to earn both her BSN and MSN from the University of South Florida, completing her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification in 2018. Since then, she has worked in primary care pediatric clinics, providing comprehensive care to children from infancy through adolescence.

With a strong commitment to evidence-based care, Angel stays current on best practices to ensure her patients receive the most effective and compassionate treatment.

She has a special interest in lactation support and became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in 2020. After several years of supporting breastfeeding families in both pediatric and lactation settings, she earned her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential in 2025.

​

Whether helping newborns thrive, supporting breastfeeding and chestfeeding families, or guiding parents through feeding challenges, she brings both expertise and empathy to every encounter. In her role as a pediatric provider, Angel also performs routine well-child visits, monitors developmental milestones, and cares for children when they are ill—always with a focus on healing, comfort, and connection.

As a mom of two young children herself, Angel understands the joys and concerns that come with parenting. She strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where families feel heard, supported, and empowered.

When she’s not caring for patients, Angel loves spending time with her family, enjoying all things Disney, and never missing a chance to greet a friendly dog or share a moment with a furry friend.
