Meet Gavin Wilson

Gavin's Story

My name is Gavin Wilson, and I’m a Computer Science student at the University of South Florida, also pursuing a minor in Mathematics. I’ve developed a variety of full-stack web applications using technologies like Python, React.js, PostgreSQL, and Docker, and enjoy the challenge of deploying scalable, cloud-ready solutions. I’m especially interested in cloud computing and continue to build skills to pursue a future in backend and cloud architecture. Alongside academics, I compete in powerlifting with USF’s team and value staying disciplined both mentally and physically. I also spend my free time with family and friends, constantly learning and upskilling in computer science. Fun fact: I live with six cats who keep things interesting!
